Finalists for 8th Annual Independent Music Awards Announced

Finalists for the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards were recently announced, including finalists for best Children's Album and best Children's Song. The Independent Music Awards are overseen by The Music Resource Group, the same company that publishes The Musician's Atlas.

Finalists for Children's Album include Father Goose's It's a Bam Bam Diddly!, The Funky Mamas' Rollin' Along, Paul Helou's Bears, Bees & Butterflies, The Kerplunks' The Kerplunks, and Dan Zanes' Nueva York.

Finalists for Children's Song include Debbie and Friends' "Hangin' Around," from Story Songs and Sing Alongs; Greg Cooney's "Rusty the Rooster," from Won'tcha Get Off the Couch?; hymn for her's "Pink Lady," from Year of the Golden Pig; Janyse's "Stomp," from The Magic of Think; and Alex & The Kaleidoscope Band's "Kangaroo," from Animals We Dream.
