Make Reading Fun with Michael Rachap's Readeez Volume One DVD

A great kids' DVD recently hit the market, produced by the Atlanta-based Readeez Company. Readeez Volume One is a collection of short (most are about one minute) live and animated clips that perfectly synch the words being spoken to the on-screen text. The beauty of the presentation is that words, not furry puppets, not marketable CGI characters, are the stars of this DVD.
Michael Rachap provides the voice and music, while Gerry O'Neill illustrates the animated segments. Rachap's superpoppy tunes, including "Circle and Square," "Lightning Sandwich," "Sandy Beach," and "How 'Bout That Cow!" are fun, catchy, witty, and, if you're not careful, might just teach your young ones a few new words along the way.
You can preview several of the segments on the Readeez website, but if you get hooked and want more, check out their official YouTube site for additional clips. And throughout December when you buy a copy of Readeez Volume One, Rachap will donate another copy of the DVD to a public library, preschool, or daycare center, and take fifteen percent off your order.
