8th Annual Independent Music Awards Announced for Kids' Album and Song

Winners were recently announced for the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards, including "Best Children's Album" and "Best Children's Song." Top honors went to Dan Zanes for his CD Nueva York!, and to Alex and The Kaleidoscope band for their song "Kangaroo!" from the album Animals We Dream. The Independent Music Awards are overseen by The Music Resource Group, the same company that publishes The Musician's Atlas.
