Who's Blogging Now: Web Logs by Kids' Musicians

Three new blogs have popped up in the internetosphere, authored by the experienced and talented children's performers Bill Harley, Uncle Rock, and Little Miss Ann.

Bill Harley has been entertaining families for 30 years, and just recently decided to reflect on his experiences through his blog Song, Story and Culture. On it, Harley expresses his thoughts on education, music, and storytelling, and how those subjects are intertwined with each other and thread their way through his own life, as well.

Robert Burke Warren, aka Uncle Rock, is a crackerjack writer besides being a rockin' uncle. His articles on music, performing, and life in general have appeared in periodicals like Big Apple Parent and Chronogram, and his new blog, Solitude and Good Company, collects those writings along with op-ed pieces, fiction, and personal musings.

Ann Torralba, aka Little Miss Ann, envisions her blog Little Shoulders Music as a way to promote kids' music coming out of Chicago, and to create a sense of community within the Windy City's children's music scene. Keeping the focus on music, Torralba reviews new releases by Chicago kids' performers and posts promos for family music gigs at venues like The Beat Kitchen and The Old Town School of Folk Music.

Yes, but I can never be the blogmeister of kids music like you! I think that’s how you termed yourself on School Library journal website? I got a kick out of that.
