Charity Kahn continues her "Song of the Month" series with a sunny, cosmic tune about the joys of sand and surf, a song that wouldn't sound out of place on a Fountains of Wayne album. "Beach" goes from bouncy solo piano to multilayered Beach Boys vocals to percussion breakdown, all behind an "Octopus' Garden" groove.
Charity's free kids' music downloads were inaugurated last December with "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," followed by January's "The Bird," February's "The Song in Your Heart," March's "The Reminder," April's "Pancakes," and "Rock-A-Bye" in May.
