2009 Carroll Park Kids' Music Series Concludes This Weekend

The 2009 Carroll Park Kids' music series comes to a close this weekend with a world music celebration from Putumayo Kids, featuring Jay Mankita. The concert begins at 3:30pm on Saturday, August 8, and will be held in Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens.

This year, the Carroll Park Kids' music series featured a set of bluegrass tunes from Carroll Park's own Astrograss, rock and roll from Brooklyn's AudraRox, and some head-bangin' tunes for tots (think Bon Jovi for kids!) from Maplewood, New Jersey's Starfish.
