Rock Stars Cover Classic Songs on Muppets Revisited

Monday September 28, 2009

Here's some exciting news: early next year Walt Disney Records will release Muppets Revisited, a collection of Sesame Street/Muppets tunes covered by current artists and bands.

Announced at the recent D23 (Disney's 23rd Annual Expo), Muppets Revisited will for sure contain songs performed by Weezer ("Rainbow Connection"), The Fray ("Mahna Mahna"), Ami Lee ("Halfway Down the Stairs"), My Morning Jacket ("Our World"), and Andrew Bird ("It's Not Easy Being Green"). Stay tuned!

Good call, Justin. My apologies to Evanescence’s Amy Lynn Hartzler, aka Amy Lee.
