nullIf you're thinking about attending Seattle's Bumbershoot Music Festival over Labor Day weekend in September and were wondering about entertainment for the kids, have no fear. Youngershoot is the family-friendly area of the Bumbershoot Music Festival, and includes live performances and interactive fun for children of all ages. And the best thing is that kids 10 years old and under get into Bumbershoot for FREE!

For the first time, The Children's Museum of Seattle has curated engaging activities in the new Youngershoot Kids' Zone, situated in Center Square (east of the Center House) during Bumbershoot. Participating programmers include Pacific Science Center, EMP, Seattle Theatre Group (STG), ParentMap, Radio Disney and others. Access to the carefully programmed area, that will include both indoor and outdoor activities, is restricted to children aged 10 and under and their guardians, ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment.

The Youngershoot Kids' Zone is open daily from 11:00am-6:00pm during the Festival. Children aged 10 and younger  along with their caregivers can enter this exhibition area at no additional charge and enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and interactive programs. If you're in the Seattle area, celebrate the weekend with your family at Youngershoot, Bumbershoot's little musical sibling.
