Warren Truitt is currently Senior Children's Librarian at The New York Public Library's Early Childhood Resource and Information Center.

Experience:

Warren Truitt has been a musician with several bands, has taught 4th Grade, and has been a children's librarian for almost 15 years. He has covered the world of children's music since 2005.

Education:

Warren has a BS in Elementary Education from Auburn University, and an MS in Library and Information Science from Long Island University.

My main goal is to make parents, teachers, and caregivers aware of the vast array of talent in the field of children's music. I use my musical experience and my educational background to identify aesthetically pleasing and developmentally appropriate music for kids and their families. Simply put, there's lots of great stuff out there, and I'm here to help you find it.
