Disney Channel's 'JONAS Soundtrack'

Word on the street was that Walt Disney Records were set to release the official soundtrack of The Jonas Brothers' JONAS tv show in September, but it looks like only the JONAS, Vol. 1: Rockin' the House DVD will hit the shelves on September 22, 2009.

The original pilot for The Jonas Brothers' show was called J.O.N.A.S.! which stood for "Junior Operatives Networking As Spies!" casting The Jonas Brothers as secret agents who were also high school students.

The current incarnation of JONAS has the boys playing the Lucas Brothers, a family rock band that happen to live on Jonas Street. The upcoming JONAS Soundtrack will include songs performed on the show, and it seems as if the JBs are reserving their more "mature" tunes for CD releases, while performing more light-hearted songs, like "Pizza Girl," on the JONAS tv show.
